Quianna Lige is a former sports content producer turned UX researcher and strategist. Currently working on her master's degree from Maryland Institute College of Art, she enjoys solving real world problems, approaching complex problems with creativity and using qualitative and behavioral research to create experiences that users will love. Following her graduation from the University of Kentucky, Quianna worked at ESPN producing content and telling athlete stories for college basketball and football, tennis and the 2016 Rio olympics.

With over 7 years of experience as a journalist and project manager,Quianna utilizes her inquisitive nature, love of storytelling and strategic mindset to help inform the development of digital products. She illustrates strengths in large project oversight with a proven-track record of success and the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion. Quianna currently works for MetaLab, a product design agency in Canada as a UX researcher.

As a queer, Black woman, Quianna has an extreme passion in advocating for marginalized communities and has founded a group specifically for people of color, Melanated UX, which helps provides resources to those looking to transition into UX. In her free time, you can find her watching reality tv with her pup Liza, forcing her partner to pull over on the side of the road to take pictures or traveling to any place with a beach and tequila.
